The Details

Inspired by the Parisian Folies Bergère, Florenz Ziegfeld and his wife Anna Held, founded the Ziegfeld Follies in New York, in 1907. The Follies produced lavish revues mingling the aesthetic of top Broadway shows and vaudeville variety. The productions featured beautiful chorus girls, the Ziegfeld Girls, who sang and dance, adorned in Erté or Lucile costumes. These ladies were considered the first Boudoir and "pinned-up" images of the time.

We will be recreating these classy old school Images in our studio!

About the Photographer

Hi! My name is Penny, and I have lived in the Erie, PA tri-state area my whole life. I am a wife, mom, cook, maid, chauffeur, business owner, and extreme multi-tasker! For over 10 years Penny Shaut Photography has been providing spirited wedding photography to countless brides and grooms, as well as portrait and commercial work.

I branched out about 5 years ago into the beautiful world of Classic Boudoir and Pin Up Photography. We have done a ton of different themed sessions from every era.

We want to provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience for your Diva Moment!

About the Makeup Artist

Jessie Jane our Studio Manager and resident MUAH (Make Up And Hair) joined the team again March 2014 after moving back to Erie from Illinois! Jessie graduated from the West Virginia University Theater Program with a BFA in Acting, emphasis on Stage Makeup Design and Execution. While in school she participated in many different productions doing a laundry list of tasks along with acting in the shows. Multitasking is her thing.
