I want you to have THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION

The Boudoir Guide

READY TO BOOK?

Classy. elegant. timeless

It's time to feel good about ourselves. Let me help you celebrate your beauty!

Whether this is for you or for someone else, I want this to be a great experience for you. I want you to feel prepared and ready without any "I should have's" later.

Here are a few common questions I get asked about these sessions:

* Sessions usually last about 60 minutes, but no longer than 90 minutes.

* Bring 3-4 outfits you would like to wear. This can be panty/bra matching set, a fancy bodysuit (lacey, velvet or with bows are fun), an off the shoulder sweater, your favorite booty shorts, heels, silky robe or a corset. Whatever you bring, make sure it makes you feel beautiful and sexy.

* Sessions take place at my studio in Seattle but if you would prefer another location, you would need to pay the rental fee. I suggest a place with great lighting and have some great recommendations that I would be happy to share with you.

* If you are wanting an album, I suggest booking your session a month before the book is needed so that it gives me plenty of time to design it and get it printed and shipped to you.

* You may bring a friend or a little champagne if that will help with nerves.

* I do edit bruises and blemishes out

If I didn't answer your question, please let me know! I look forward to working with you!

BOUDOIR GALLERY

A message from        Courtney

Yes, that's me in the photo. I have have two boudoir sessions myself and love them. I definitely understand how scary they can be, but they I know they are also so rewarding when you get them back.

I believe that boudoir sessions should be about celebrating the unique bodies we live in daily. It's not about perfection, it's about celebration! It's about feeling beautiful in our own skin.

I have fought body image issues since I was a teenager, but now in my 30's I am free of that. I want every woman to feel beautiful in their own skin and all their curves, shapes  and scars. We are beautiful women and I want everyone to feel beautiful and in love with their bodies!

HOW TO PREPARE

Go pamper yourself before the session. Go get your hair and nails done. Neutral tones for your nails are best because they go with pretty much everything you'll wear, but if you're aiming for moody, try a bright red or dark plum.

Just say no to spray tans! I have seen many spray tans over the years and they never look the same way in camera as they do to the naked eye.

Find the perfect outfits. They should make you feel sexy and beautiful. If you are trying to hide your belly, go for something like a corset or a baggy sweatshirt.

Not all bodysuits are made the same, so try a few different ones on to find what makes you look your best. We want to accentuate the things you love about your body, so keep that in mind when you're looking for things to bring.

Schedule a makeup appointment. A makeup artist can really help accentuate your beauty and it helps you get into the mood to be photographed. You can go for a natural look, glowy or if you're feeling daring a smokey eye! If you need makeup artist recommendations, I have a list on my website under "info" and recommended vendors.
