CREATIVE. Authentic. You.

5 Tips For A Successful Branding Session:

1. Know your session goals. Are you trying to create content for social media, building a website, promoting a service or event or creating printed marketing materials. Having a clear vision of HOW you plan to use your images can help guide the session

2. Know the shots you absolutely want to capture. Write them down, share them in your pre-consult and bring the list with to the session. It might be a headshot, an image of you on the phone or working at your computer...whatever it is, we will make sure to capture these for you.

3. Have your brand in mind for the general theme of your shoot. This should encompass your logo, brand colors, general vibe (bright and airy, dark and moody), etc.

4. Prep yourself!  Since these images will revolve around YOU and connect your audience to what you represent, be sure you are happy with your hair, clothing choices, makeup, etc. Do a trial run of hair and makeup, if needed. It's always best to go with your natural, daily look so you appear and feel like yourself when you see your images in your marketing.

5. Keep an open mind and trust the process. If you are asked to try a specific pose, expression, etc. just TRY it. There's no obligation to select images that push you out of your comfort zone, but magic can happen when you least expect it. Your photographer will see things you may not, so trust their ideas and direction.

6. Have fun!!! Let the session unfold naturally and don't be afraid to laugh. The more fun you can have, the more REAL your photos will turn out and the more connection you will portray.
