It's time to plan for your Senior JSL formal portrait session with Donna Cummings Photography! We're excited to be welcoming our sixth class of seniors and look forward to meeting and working with each of you. Studio sessions are available for sessions Tuesday - Thursday, June 1 - August 31 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. The formal sessions must be completed no later than August 31. 

The JSL Regular Session is included in your  JSL dues. It includes the basic studio session on the formal studio blue canvas and will include the publicity images used for the ball program and media publications. 

The JSL Extended Session allows for a wider variety of poses both indoor and outdoor. The extended session offers more options such as our beautiful beveled glass double doors, outdoor stone wall and natural greenery choices. This cost is $50.

Preparing for your Portrait Session:

Ladies:

Ladies will need to have their dresses altered and bring all accessories with you for your session. This includes all undergarments, jewelry, shoes, etc. Professional hair and make-up is highly encouraged for your session. Pearls (faux is fine) and gloves are required for the formal portraits, so please remember to include them when you come. It is important for your gloves to match your dress. Special request to retouch the gloves will result in a retouching fee.

Gentlemen:

Gentlemen will need to be fitted for your tux and tails at Mark's Formal Wear about a week before your session. A fresh haircut and a clean shaven face is required. We suggest you bring the tux to our studio to avoid getting wrinkled before your session. You will be given your pants, shirt, jacket & shoes from Mark's Formal Wear. We will have all the finishing touches at the studio and will help you with bow tie, vest, cufflinks, studs, etc. Dark socks are highly encouraged.

Following your session, you will be scheduled for an in-studio preview appointment to view the portraits and make any selections of prints you want for publications as well as any images you would like to order. This process usually takes about an hour. Finally, you will note that several of our JSL packages include separate senior portrait sessions. We would love the chance to capture special memories of your senior year during the summer when things are not as busy as when school resumes. The senior sessions are scheduled for a separate date from the JSL formal session and are so much fun!
