I have everything you need for baby including a wide selection of beautiful wraps in many shades and colors along with a large inventory of props and setups perfect for newborns. I also welcome your personal items for newborn sessions whether they be a special wrap, prop or memorable personal item.
I specialize in creating timeless, breathtaking newborn photography for families in Columbus, Texas and all surrounding areas. For newborn sessions I will happily travel to your home for in-home sessions.
I believe that those first family snuggles, tiny newborn details, and the love between siblings are too special to skip so I highly recommend including your entire family in the session but realizing that not all parents feel like they are ready to be included in the photos, I offer a session for baby only as well as a more extensive session to include parents and siblings.
Appointments typically take place on weekday mornings at 9 am (or the occasional Saturday or Sunday depending on availability) when baby is 5-12 days old. If baby ends up spending time in the NICU, please don't stress about the timing as preemies have a larger window to get those sleepy newborn poses and I am also well able to work with babies that are a little older. They are just more touchy and take extra care and time to work with.
Contacting me to book your session works great as soon as your baby arrives. Make a note of any doctor's appointments scheduled for you and your baby and then reach out to discuss availability. I do my very best to accommodate your family's schedules while keeping in mind the best time of day for the newborn and other children that may be included in your session.
Just Baby MINI Newborn Session - $359.
- A session just for baby.
- Up to ONE hour of time.
- Wrapped/swaddled poses only. Various props and wraps can and will be used.
- 12 of your favorite images edited but unretouched from the session
- Private online gallery from which you make your selections
This session is great if you are looking for something a little more budget friendly or you just want photos of your new baby this is the package for you.

The Full Just Baby Newborn Session - $459.
- A session just for baby
- 2-3 hour of time
- 20 of your favorite images edited but unretouched from the session
- Wrapped/swaddled poses as well as in outfits in various baby led poses. Various props and wraps can and will be used.
- Private online gallery from which you make your selections.
For areas within 40 miles of Columbus, TX travel is included. For more distant locations please inquire about my mileage fee.
The EXTENDED Newborn Session - $579.
- A session for the baby, the parents and the siblings.
- 2-4 hour of photography time
- 26 of your favorite images edited but unretouched from the session
- Wrapped/swaddled poses as well as in outfits in various baby led poses. Various props and wraps can and will be used. This session can include a variety of shots with the family altogether, the siblings together, mom and dad with the newborn, the mother and child and the father and child.

Please keep in mind that digitals are edited for color, density and cropping, they are NOT retouched. Retouching can be purchased through an upgrade.

Newborn Portrait Retouching - Every newborn is perfect just as they are—but sometimes little things like baby acne, blotchiness, or scratches can distract from the timeless beauty of your portraits. That’s why I offer professional retouching as an added upgrade option with every newborn session. I carefully and naturally smooth skin tones while keeping your baby’s delicate features intact, so the final portraits reflect the pure, fresh look you’ll want to cherish forever. Your little one will still look like themselves—just the way you remember them—without the temporary newborn blemishes. These options are offered in the shopping cart area of your gallery.
A 50 percent deposit is due to reserve your session date and time with the balance including sales tax due no later than the day of the session.
I can promise you that I have worked long and hard at the delicate craft of photographing newborns. Many years of experience and studying special soothing, wrapping, safe handling and posing of newborns have gone into working to provide the very best experience for my clients.
WHAT TO WEAR AND PROPS
I have lots of adorable props, baskets, boxes, wreaths, wraps, hats and headbands that you are free to use for your session! Depending on which session you purchase, you are also welcome to use things that are special to you and I will try to incorporate them into the portraits. If you have a specific prop in mind that you see in any of my galleries please inquire as I do not own all the props you may see in my samples. Many of them are brought by the parents just for their child.
After you schedule your session with me I will share my Session Prep Guide with you so we can work together for the most successful newborn session possible.
MATERNITY SESSIONS
Location maternity sessions are available. If you prefer a location or outdoor session or want to add your spouse or children, you will be allowed to upgrade for an additional fee. For locations beyond the first 40 miles from Columbus, TX will incur a mileage fee charged at the rate of 2.75 per mile charged one way.
Collections
All files are edited for correct color, density and cropping. Retouching is NOT included however I offer prints in different finishes that can include retouching.

Sitter Sessions - 295.
Let's be honest, babies around 6-9 months are just plain adorable with their chubby little arms and legs, and those big round eyes. This is definitely a time in your baby's life you will want preserved.
This 30 minute session is for 1 child around 6-7 months of age when your child is sitting well alone, unsupported. 2-3 outfits are allowed. Add siblings or parents to this session for 50. extra.
This is a perfect time to add Mom & Me!

Birthday Sessions - 350.
This one hour session is to capture your child's first birthday. It is for the individual only and can include up to two outfits plus a cake smash if you wish. You are welcome to bring along themed props and perhaps a smash cake for those milestone birthdays!
