Do you remember YOUR OWN newborn photo? You know, the one taken in the hospital in the blue and pink blanket, the crazy look on your face, hands flailing about, blotchy skin, swollen eyes, the awful lighting and the uncertainty of who the photo actually is or even the gender of the baby pictured? Ha, ha, yeah we all have that photo! And while I cherish having it, I can only imagine how many people told my mother "What a (*cough*) cute little boy you have there". Well, I'm a girl but those photos were just awful!
How do YOU want to showcase YOUR new baby?
I personally want to capture this time that I'll never, ever get back. And I want to do it BEAUTIFULLY! I want to show how brand-new and squishy and perfect and flawless my baby is! I want to immortalize every single detail to remind me of how she melted right into my arms, the smell of her newborn skin, and how tiny she looked snuggled in with her big sister. I want to capture his wrinkly little fingers and toes before they're gone. His soft newborn hair. Pouty little lips. And I certainly want everyone to know if that is a boy or girl!
If this is what you want as well, NOW is the time. The ONLY time.
In the blink of an eye, all of this will be a memory and you'll be so thankful that you captured it!
