You've been asking...now it's time to get up to speed with two of the most powerful tools a photographer will ever use - Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom! This is our "darkroom"  where you will get a taste of what each one of these powerful tools can do for you.

DETAILS: Overview of both programs: basic editing, file management, and photo enhancement.

Bring your laptops or just sit back and watch our big screen as we show you the ropes. 

Demonstration will be on Creative Cloud/ current versions of both software. (Photoshop CC & Lightroom 5).  Students with older versions of the software will still take away everything being taught, but might be enlightened by new improvements!

Besides loving photography in general, I also love TEACHING about photography! Dry monotone lectures? NO! Pencil and paper note taking? NO WAY! I'm a huge fan of hands-on learning, and isn't that what photography is all about? All those dials, lenses and concepts all tie in together, and it is my job to make sure it all makes sense to you. One of my talents is analogies, so be prepared! Also, as the saying goes, "what happens at the studio, stays at the studio". This is a safe space where there is no such thing as a stupid question. In fact, part of your homework will be creating as well as fixing "mistakes"!
