• This was a wonderful specialty gift store. We worked with many different local artists and craftsman. It was very interesting to me to see how artists of different levels conducted their businesses and submitted their work to the store owner for consideration.

2018

• Katie Andelman Photography - Studio Assistant and Event Planner
  
• It was such a privilege to work closely with Katie, and learn all about the business and artistic sides of her children's fine art and fashion photography business. We hosted several workshops and shooting days for learning opportunities for new photographers from all over the country.

2017-2018

• Andre Michaels Photography Studio
  
• I moved to the Denver, CO area in 2017 to learn more about how different segments of the photography industry operated. Andre Michaels was a volume portrait studio, and I worked as a photographer and in sales. This job helped me become much more efficient in my shooting and my limited Spanish language skills.

• I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with many types of clients - from the sports photos of the local school system, to products and business headshots, and luxury portrait sessions.

2015-2017

• Artesian Valley Health System - Director of Marketing, Community Education, and Public Relations
• I came on board at AVHS to help them build a marketing department. In my time with them, I updated the branding, built a new website, established a social media presence, hosted events, designed and produced promotional print materials including a magazine-style newsletter, business cards, brochures, newspaper, magazine, radio, event and billboard advertising.

2012-2013

• Freelance Photography, Retouching and Graphic Design
• Here are a few of the clients I worked with during this time.
• Hollyhocks - a women's clothing boutique for whom I created branding, signage, packaging, and the displays for their opening.
• Jolie Leeds Photography - I continued to handle all of her retouching on a contract basis.
• Ohio Department of Transportation - I worked remotely with ODOT to design a series of safety posters for their workers.
• Gengraphics, LL - Jen specializes in sports photography, and I handled her retouching and designed composite sports posters for her clients.
• Arvale Rogers - Arvale is a painter who specializes in Native American paintings. I created digital and print promotional materials for him. I also created giclee prints from his original paintings.

2010-2012

• Jolie Leeds Photography - Office Manager, Retoucher, Assistant Photographer
• Jolie is a portrait photographer who originally brought me on board to handle her retouching and production. When she decided to expand her business, I created her a new business plan including branding, products, pricing, and promotional materials. Before I left this position, I was handling all aspects of the marketing, sales, processing, and office duties of the business.

2009-2010

• David's Bridal - Alterations Specialist
• Although I worked on all types of formal-wear at David's Bridal, I was primarily designing, selling, and implementing creative bustles and fitting solutions for brides.
• Forever 21 - Sales Assistant
• I especially enjoyed working with the visuals team to create new, trendy displays within our store. We would work over night for a whole week, tearing down and reorganizing the entire store and then teaching the other employees the new plan that Saturday. It was exhausting, and awesome.

College - 2005-2009

• Costume Mistress for College Theater
• My work here involved fitting and maintaining costumes for 6 annual productions. I also was in charge of all of the hair and makeup and changes. My favorite production was Into the Woods where Cinderella actually wore 3 outfits layered in order to accomidate the quick changes.
• Office Assistant for Art Department
• This position began as work-study filing, and ended with me being more of a TA, managing the annual Brass Ring Awards (which at the time had over 600 entries), and hosting several gallery opening events per year.
• Lead Graphic Designer for Advanced Printing & Marketing of Edmond, OK (Now under new ownership)
• I joined APM after designing an invitation suite for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. I went in as a client and walked out with a job offer. In my time there, I designed invitations, business cards, brochures, posters, flyers, and much more. It was great experience for learning about press production, and client management.
